Hello, I'm new to autocad. I'm trying to follow some tutorials, but I can't seem to move things properly. If I want to move something and the object I'm selecting is touching anything else (even if that "anything" is not selected) everything gets moved. I made a video to quickly show you what I'm talking about. I also attached the file.

https://youtu.be/EgizxCKx0M4

I only want to move that green rectangle, but everything it touches moves as well.

I tried looking for posts that talk about this, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks for any help!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Can you attach the drawing itself instead of the video showing the issue?

Maxim

This is because you have Infer Constraints enabled on the Status Bar.

You need to turn this feature off:

Plus please verify that you have no unnecessary parametric constraints in the drawing (I see you have a lot of them).

If you don't need them use "Delete constraints" from Parametric menu to delete them (use All option when AutoCAD will ask to select objects to delete constraints).
