I have one Imac with autocad for mac, but my license server is running on windows, The problem is that I can not make te imac to connect to the license server.

Hello @hdrazo ,

The license for "AutoCAD for Mac" is only compatible on Mac, so you would not be able to activate it on a Windows Operating System.

Yes the licence is runing on a mac but the license server is running on windows, Let me explain:

I have a license server already running in a windows server it manages navisworks and autocad network licenses all of them running in windows.

I have added an imac to may pool of machines and a network license of autocad for mac I already have my license file up and running in my license server and every other machine is working ok, but the Imac is the one that I can make connect to the server, durin isntalation I provided de ip adress of the server and The installer ran well but I can´t start the aplication as it can´t find the license server.

I hope this is enough information, any help will be very much appreciated

Thanks for the additional info @hdrazo

There may be a couple different variables in play here. Are you certain this is a network license? A standalone will not have the capability to activate via server. As for the other variable, You mentioned this is on a Mac, as the license is intended for, however, it sounds like you may be running on a parallel? Or perhaps Boot Camp? Could you attach a screenshot of the error you are encountering?

Please be sure to "whiteout" any personal information contained in the screenshot, like your serial number, and any server information you do not wish to be public.
