Hi. Thanks for the feedback.

I don't think it is the first problem. There is no file called Autocad LT, it is already called AutoCAD 2015.

The second problem, where there are some files missing in a hidden folder. That doesn't seem to be the problem either as I don't have that file path. I unhid all the folders, but noroaming folder in the Autocad folder in Application Support.

Could this have changed for the 2015 version?

I installed Autocad for Mac, free student version.

Everything works fine with the install, and I can launch the program, but then how do I start creating a house?

My screen has almost no options (see attached). Looks like I need to install something more?

Has anyone had the same problem? Would be great help.

Best

André

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi André,

I think you need to try the solution from this topic:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-general/autocad-lt-2013-app-store-download-no-menu-bar/m-p/4820799/highlight/true#M10913

You need to replace "AutoCAD LT" to "AutoCAD 2015" in application name and the path to support files I mentioned in that solution: from "~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/roaming/AutoCAD LT 2013/R19.0/enu/Support" to

"~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/roaming/AutoCAD 2015/R20.0/enu/Support"

You can also look at this discussion:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-general/autocad-2013-for-mac-student-version-toolbar-menu-bar-does-not/m-p/3671802/highlight/true#M5279

Nothing changed in AutoCAD 2015. In order it function properly there should be Autodesk folder (and other AutoCAD related folders inside it):

Do you have such folders on your Mac inside Library folder in your Home folder?

As about AutoCAD LT - in my previous post I wrote, that you need to substitute the name "AutoCAD LT" with "AutoCAD 2015" in order to follow my instructions correctly if you have AutoCAD 2015 on your Mac.
