In one of the Service Pack updates 'tokens' were added on the lower right within the AOV manager. If you click that dropdown you get options for additional naming that can give some control but still not exactly the workflow I was used to. I started using Vray for my workflow shortly after this issue.

When Batch Rendering in the previous releases with Arnold I had an AOV Ambient Occlusion pass included in a saved Render Preset. This worked great in the batch by automatically outputting the AO pass in my same root folder as the main render pass. The key for the batch was the 'Use AOV name as suffix' option. In 2021 with the new AOV Manager I don't see that as an option so my same settings result in just a singe file continually overwritten since it does not realize it needs to add a suffix each time to create a separate file. Has anyone else encountered this issue and have a workaround/solution? Thanks so much!

Did you manage to find a solution to this issue?

Currently having the same issue. Finding it quite frustrating!
