topic Is it possible to export light & shadow baked textures on a 3d object from 3Ds Max to Unity3D? in 3ds Max Shading, Lighting and Rendering Forum

The goal is to have all the lighting and shadow information baked onto a 3D object with texture so that when I export it to Unity3D, any of Unity's lighting system whether there's any light present or not would not affect the object.

Hi,

There is a step-by-step here for Normal and AO maps, I presume you could also bake the lighting in a similar way:
https://learn.unity.com/tutorial/baking-texture-maps-in-3dsmax-for-unity#

There is also a pipeline Tutorial here:
https://learn.unity.com/project/3ds-max-to-unity-pipeline

As for the easy way out, I've been looking at this Plug-in that seems to do it all quite easy:
https://www.texturebaking.com/ I have no exprience with it yet though.

Regards,
