Hi,

I'm trying to render with the mental ray renderer a particle system using Particle Flow. But, if I add to the particle system's material a noise map for the opacity, this error message appears:

SYSTEM: Production renderer is changed to Scanline Renderer. Previous messages are cleared.
SYSTEM: Production renderer is changed to NVIDIA mental ray. Previous messages are cleared.
SHDR 0.5 206 MB error 141071: broke suspected infinite trace recursion

The error appears only when the opacity option is ticked in the maps rollout.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Thank you for your kind help,

Ludovica
