Script export layer Status, Script that imports layer status doesn't work

Hi,

I wrote to scripts some time ago that I think worked then but one doesn't work now so I need some help to get it working again.

First script exports the status of all the layers in the scene (visible or not visible).

Second is supposed to import and set all the layers according to the exported text file but that doen't work. Is it because I have neted layers?

Would greately appreciate if someone could look at this for me.
