Is 3DS Max .exe affecting network calls from its plugins?

Hi!

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if I implement some network calls from Object plugin (.dlo), will they be affected by 3DS Max (proxy, blocking..) or they should work?

Is there any documentation related to this please?

I'm pretty sure the 3DS MAX does nothing built-in to block network. In this sense, the Object plugin does not stand out in the system as anything special.

however, theoretically this can be done by a 3rd-party plugin.

..and I'm totally sure, as otherwise many of my plugins won't work.
