Dear @Anonymous ,

Although in the past we have built some features of 3ds Max using .NET technology, today we focus on moving 3ds Max to Qt, and improving our support for Python. At the core, 3ds Max is based on C++, and that will not change.

If you are wondering what technologies will be supported by 3ds Max in the long run, the C++ SDK, Qt for UI development, and Python for scripting are a sure bet.

I hope this helps,

Attila
