    <description>I'm not sure if there is a proper way of doing this. Named selections are internal to the Edit Poly modifier. Unless it provides a mechanism to disclose this internal data, you probably won't be able to access it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, the source code of Edit Poly is included in the SDK. Even if there is no such mechanism to help you retrieve the named selection data, you can possibly come up with a hack. ;&amp;amp;#41;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm new to the SDK... and MAX :&amp;amp;#41;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We need a way to mark polygons of our character mesh according to its body parts &amp;amp;#40;e.g head, body, arms, etc.&amp;amp;#41; So the artists use named selection for this: polygons are selected in editable poly and names assigned to them etc.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;B&gt;My question is how to get this data from an utility plugin?&lt;/B&gt; I need to modify an existing plugin &amp;amp;#40;Unreal ActorX&amp;amp;#41; to extract this information.
