topic Animating for iPhone in 3ds Max Programming Forum

I was told that iPhone games need to be animated in a 3D program and then imported into a .qtz compiler for iPhone to translate the animation. Is this correct? What is the name of the .qtz compiler. Thanks ahead of time.

C'mon Hangman - you've been here long enough to know that duplicate posts aren't allowed...

Duplicate in the SDK forum removed.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I forgot there was an SDK forum. Getting an animation sequence into an iPhone game is driving me nuts.

If this is really an SDK question then I can move this thread there, though it seems a more general (not really Max specific) question.

Try Quartz Composer - unsurprisingly it's Apple s/ware.

Yeah, could you please move this to the SDK area. The problem with creating an iPhone game is that they change new SDK's and make the old ones obsolete. It's a nightmare trying to move 3d files into .qtz(Quartz) format. Been trying png sequence but apparently you have to export from Max to Blender to Quartz...??? I hate how apple has set it up. They've monopolized the process... Uhhh(pulling my hair out). Thanks Steve
