when using max as a com server I get a rather pronounced redraw flicker in max when ever the client attaches and detaches. Its most obvious with the command panel but not the view port (as I can notice). Is this normal ? It's not a deal breaker but It's now going to eat at my soul 😉

actually seems to be a visual studio thing, when running it straight from the exe it's fine. 🙂

That's what I feel too when I see a flickering.

It flickers also without COM, depending on the contents of the command panel and the action which takes place. I reported to AD, as it was very visible under max 2020. Since the ticket is not closed yet, I'm afraid it still exists..

My workaround was to re-arrange the command-panel and to automatically close/disable it, when not needed.
