Hello,

I've got a question regarding a short animation I want to make. A good example for this, a mattress I want to roll up. The "Bend" modifier doesn't seem to work as it will just make a circle and not fill the center. Does anyone have any idea's how I'm able to make this as an animation?

I experimented with changing the radii and number of turns of a helix (as a renderable rectangle) and got the following. Not a final solution but this approach may have potential. I also considered using a PathDeform modifier applied to a box that references a spline that was converted from a helix but ran into some problems. This is a work in progress.

Hi,

I made this screencast to demonstrate one way to do this using the Bend modifier
