Boolean operation problem

Hi, when I try and substract the colored piece it removes the whole object, it's the first time I encounter this problem while using the pro boolean, here is my scene:

do you have the ellipse cutting into the box, and in boolean do you have subtraction A+B? i copy what you did what you did in the video and mine worked fine.

It cuts into the box, but I don't know what you mean by substraction A + B?

if the modify panel boolean you should see substraction sorry i am using a old version.

Yeah I do have substraction I've used the pro boolean on multiple parts of my mesh but I can't do it anymore, I'll try importing my model into a new scene
