Physics/Coding problem

Hey guys.

A error window chalk full of max code is popping up whenever I do a simple simualtion of balls dropping into a basket (whose walls around the basket are static rigid, balls are dynamic rigid). You'll see a second error window that comes up as well. Both are attached. Any ideas why this is happening?

Maybe try starting 3dsMax with Administrator Privileges.
Right-click the 3dsMax icon and select 'Run as administrator'

Thanks for bringing your issue to the 3DS Max forums! I looked up this error ", and it may pertain to imported elements within your scene, does this article correlate to any moving parts within your project? I also went to search for it in our internal database, and a bunch of similar errors were accounted for, I sent an email to someone in development, so I'm hoping to get some more clarity on it soon, I will pass along what I find out.

I'm curious if i can try to reproduce this on my machine, is it possible to get a copy of a file that has this issue?

Did you get a chance to look into my previous suggestions? Oh, and I forgot to ask, what version of 3DS Max are you getting this error in? Does the scene have any imported elements from other 3d applications, such as Revit?

Does this error prevent you from rendering the simulation?

Thanks for the reply my friend and so sorry for not replying back sooner. I would send you the file but I am having technical issues as I just installed a new SSD drive on my computer. The problem I am having is that I cannot find any documentation online on how to re-install 3DS MAX without paying. Can you let me know? Once I get back to the project I will def send you project file. Thanks Hagen!

Hmm, it depends on if you have a subscription or a perpetual license type. Either way you should be able to log onto your Autodesk account page to view all your product downloads.

I would recommend posting any installation questions you have on the installation and licensing forums, as @natasha.l has a lot more knowledge on that subject 😄
