Try, from the Element sub-object level, selecting one element like the car's door,

And do what I suggested in my previous reply, maybe it can help more than doing it on the whole object.

Hi,

Loaded an OBJ file into a scene and have come across this artifacting on some geometry and I don't know how to get rid of it. Any ideas? cheers.

Hi,

Select all vertices and use Weld with a very low value like 0.001,

Now select all the polygons and in the Smoothing Group rollout,

With the default value first, click the AutoSmooth,

You can with different values to see if anything change.

If it's still an Editable Mesh object try converting to an Editable Poly,

And also try the suggested above.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply! I tried this but unfortunately didn’t get rid of it completely, I’ve written the model off as broken, but thank you for the advice!
