    <description>&lt;P&gt;@Anonymous&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe you already tried this, but it could also be that the normals of the polygons that are showing as black are flipped (i.e., pointing inward).&amp;nbsp; To check this, select the polygons that appear black and click "Flip" in the Edit polygon rollout if it is an editable poly or "Flip" in the surface rollout if it is an Editable mesh.&amp;nbsp; Hope it helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can also use the modifier "normal" to make sure all the faces are correctly pointed... using "unify normals" instead turn ojne by one the flipped ones.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
