      <description>&lt;P&gt;@Anonymous&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I want to know why only the backside is chosen!&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It looks like the normals are reversed (i.e., pointing inward) on your model and therefore selecting from the front selects only the back side polygons because they are (incorrectly)facing toward you.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The selected polygons are highlighted with a dull red color.&amp;nbsp; When the polygons are facing correctly outward from the mesh surface they are highlighted in a bright red color.&amp;nbsp; To fix your issue,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Place Edit mesh modifier on the stack just below your Unwrap UV modifier,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Select all the polygons and click “Unify”. If they still are not bright red as shown here, click “Flip” and that should correct the normals.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Flip_Normals.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/764447iF7CCC27740B29B53/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Flip_Normals.png" alt="Flip_Normals.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
