&lt;P&gt;For such situations, Proxy objects are preferred. It almost uses no ram during modeling, and does not force your GPU, thus you get a smoother viewport navigation, and less ram usage. Render quality will be exactly the same.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Finish your 3d model, shading, texturing with one of your seats,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Convert it into a proxy object&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Import your proxy object to your scene&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Duplicate&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
