3dsmax 2021 _ Smart Extrusion does not work

Hello guys ! please help me

I downloaded 3dsmax 2021 and have been trying to use smart extrude command but It is completely does not work for me. Everytime when i click Hold shift + drag in the viewport. It is completely like i use in the old version - it will clone part of mesh. So could you please tell me how to do it or it is bcause version?

shift + drag will clone your selected polygon...
use the ribbon panel if you want to use SHIFT + CLICK for extrusion with settings

Believe it or not, this was a function in <Max 2008 - they took it out, and have put it back in with 2021!

Yes, you shift and move to extrude (as said this was always the way to do it, before they inexplicably removed it). 😉
