topic AutoCAD/Fusion 360 ARCS coming in jagged in 3ds max. in 3ds Max Modeling Forum

I created an oval shape in AutoCAD ("AutoCAD" Image). Brought that into Fusion 360 and extruded it into a solid ("Fusion 360" Image). I then exported the Fusion 360 model to an OBJ an imported that into 3DS Max 2021 ("3dsMAX" image). All of the arcs are now straight line segments. Why?

If there is nothing I can do, can I somehow add the curve where the points are? A Fillet or something.

What type of entity was the oval outline in AutoCAD? E.g., spline, arc, polyline.

Can you extrude the shape in AutoCAD and then import the dwg file into Max?

I have tried a few options. Spline and Polylines. Both have the same result.

I guess I never considered attempted to extrude in AutoCAD and then importing that into 3ds Max.

I am not sure I know how this works. Creating a 3d Solid from a 2d autocad drawing.
