Hi,

I'm facing difficulty to offset a specific edge during an editable poly modeling (please find the attached illustration).

Is there an easy way to make an offset rather that using polygon insert?

Thanks in advance

(you are actually asking to offset two edges at the same time...)

I assume you want the new edges to be exactly parallel to the old edges?

I would probably use Inset on the top face (the one you drew the yellow lines on) and then clean up the extraneous edges using Ctrl-Backspace and/or the Remove button in EPoly > Edge:

Or how about EPoly > Polygon > Slice Plane and then rotate the plane with angle snap?

If "parallel" is not 100% important, maybe QuickSlice or Cut would do it?

Easier way would be to model it in shape as yellow lines show and then to extrude faces with local normal on.
