      <title>Snap objects that's on the same level</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It has struck me that I'm quite often looking for behavior like this. A feature that snaps to an object which is on the same level:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="level.gif" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1158156iDF5DA1ED4DAD05CF/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="level.gif" alt="level.gif" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've played around with the alignment tool Grid and snap settings but none is similar to the one above.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can use Max's 'Snap' settings to do nice snaps on just one axis like you show. Before moving/snapping just click on the axis you want so that you isolate it. Then grab the center circle around the axis indicator and snap to your other object. There's a learning curve but play with it and you'll get it. It's very handy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is a video.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cool, glad it helped you. There are a lot of things you can do with it by moving the pivot point, etc. Play with it and I think you'll find it useful.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
