Hey folks, coming to my wit's end with generating mapping without distortion on a lamp post I'm working on, so I thought I'd stop by and see if anyone has any tips.

I'm attaching a shot of it for illustration purposes, but basically it is a lathed cylindrical object with a lot of undercuts. Straight cylindrical mapping creates significant distortion in the undercuts. I'm wondering if there is a faster way to unwrap this than arranging faces and clusters manually.

Thanks!

JZyla
