    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, thanks for the help.I managed to muddle through. I didn't manage to correct the flaws (as indicated by uvw unwrap) but it didn't seem to make any difference to the final uv mapping&amp;nbsp;and texturing of the model...so I decided not to pursue it any further. Instead of merging objects, I ended up simply deleting the polys and recreating them. Seems to work fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;monks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
