Hi,

The need is to break an object into cubes. The best way to do that till now has been a max script - deconstructor. But unfortunately that dosent work in MAX2016. Also in the earlier versions where this works, it sometimes leaves some random faces on the broken fragments.

Can anyone please suggest a better way to do this. Creating clean cubed fragments of any random object is essential.

Thank You in advance.

Hi,

I think you need a voxelization.

The link below has a free script that you can download and use.

http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/mcg/mcg-voxelizer

Best regards;
