topic Strange UV Scale Behaviour in 3ds Max Modeling Forum

Currently, I'm using 3ds Max 2017 doing some unwrapping. The new UV Unwrap tools work great but I have encountered some strange scaling behaviour on some object when I UV packed it. I have checked all the boxes in UV Pack and the results with all the UVs stretched and distorted out. The UV Pack work seamlessly on other object but not in this case. I have tried peeling and quick planar unwrapping, first it did nicely, but things go wrong once I relax the UVs or Pack it. Is it a bug or did I do anything wrong? Thanks

Have you tried resetting the scale on your object before relaxing/packing your UVs? If the scale values are not at 100.0, then it will cause stretching with the UVs.
