So yeah, i want to create Weapon models, Vehicle models and thats basically it. So i want to concentrate on only those things. I want to import them into game engines.I heard that i should learn the technics behind it instead of just watching tutorials on how to model object XY... So are there any learning resources for theese modeling technics needed for Vehicles and arms? For example i started with a M1911 and i finished the slide very easy, but im stuck at the body part where the body starts to get curved and flat. Could someone show me some tutorials? I searched on YouTube but most tutorials are just sped up with ****ty background music and no voiceover, so i don't even know why i do some things.

If you learn best visually, go through some topology tutorials first, like Topology and Tools Review by Arrimus 3D:

Thank you guys, i scrapped my M1911 and started with something easier. I hope the Arrimus Tuts will help me.
