Making front of ps4 console help

Im trying to make the front at a ps4 console where the CD and USP inputs are, but when i try to select all the front edges and do "connect" this is happening (look at pictures)...What's the problem?

That's actually the video i followed... I have no idea what i did wrong... I can put the file in Attachments

mmm try holding your scene edit hold and then deleting the middle line down the center go into the edges and select the top and bottom edges then use the connect setting box and then use the pinch and slide tool if you don't llike it then you can go back to edit fetch this will go back to the model before you connected it the model
