Hello people. When I use the "shell" modifier on a model I see that it doesn't work like I would like. I put a screencast, but basically the thickness of the modifier is not uniform and at the top of the object the thickness narrows. I would like the whole shell to have the same volume. It's possible? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that the shell thickness is not uniform and that what you are seeing is the result of a perspective view? Change your view to orthographic and then examine the result of the Shell modifier.

Thanks for the answer, but with orthographic view is the same, but you can see in the screencast of my last post that the edges in the narrow part of the shell are more inclined, and that is not a problem of visualization and perspective. Can I modify these edges to widen them?

Thanks for the help, Lukasz, but it hasn't effect. I'll upload another video showing the problem, including orthographic view and clicking "Straighten corners" button.

Try RESET XFORM and then collapse it or convert the model into an editable poly. Then try SHELL modifier.
