&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here's what i would do for this task;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Simply create a line around your object that you want to wrap, go to modify, in rendering rollout, click on enable in renderer, enable in viewport. Then you can convert this spline to Editable Polygon and apply Noise modifier. for the rest of the details, you can simply push / pull vertices and or fix it with Bum and or displacement mapping.&lt;/P&gt;
