I'm doing environmental modeling, and I've got many electrical wires to reproduce between poles where the poles are at different distances. To maintain correct catenary curves you can't simply scale on one axis each cloned wire out to fit the new distance. Right now, I'm creating Mcloth cylinders between poles for each wire - it's accurate! - but that's taking forever.

I just thought I can't be the first person to encounter this issue of creating streets with electrical wires, but Googling it or forum searching isn't giving me many answers of people who have worked out a more automated approach.

Thanks to anyone who could offer advice.
