Use a push modifier with a negative value.Keeps things parametric and you can adjust the gap later.

or

Use the Center Flyout and switch to 'Use Pivot Point Center' then scale.

Hello everyone, i've been trying to figure out how to equally space out/divide the various pieces of this object in order to have a thin gap between each fragment.

I've tried selecting all the fragments and scaling them down with the select and uniform scale tool, but all the pieces are shrunk relative to one gizmo at the center of the object.

I could select each individual piece and scale them down one by one, but perhaps there's a more efficient way of doing this
