I'm new to the new(er) Fluid in 3DS Max. I'm attempting to create a water effect on a water slide. The water particles cease to exist on the slide when they reach the spot displayed in red below. I have the timeline set to 300 and at around frame 58 the particles reach that spot and then scrubbing the timeline, no particles make it past that point. Watching the particle counter under the display tab, they are just vanishing instead of falling through the geometery. I am wondering if there is a duration parameter I'm missing or way to extend the life of the particles so they can make it all the way down the slide. I'd value any help!

Particles stop at the red line.

Unfortunately, my timeline was not the issue. I had to abandon the file and start over. I started encountering problems left and right after adding the fluid and running the simulation to the file. Anytime I added new geometry or try to render afterwards it would crash Max.

Probably a fluke issue. I went through the same procedure again and no issue the next time around. Autodesk has my crash reports maybe they can figure out what went wrong.
