don't forget the GT 710, that is a very low end graphics card. so it mite not work as well, and it's mainly used for gaming, surfing the net and watching videos and it's not really for cad programs.

My 3ds Max ran smoothly and fast before but this month it stutters and lags in viewport whenever I rotate. The problem may caused by its low specs. I don't store too file in my laptop. Can you please help me what graphic card should I use?

Microsoft Windows 10 Home Single Language

System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2701 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date Dell Inc. 1.2.5, 14/05/2018
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
Radeon (TM) R7 M445

the autodesk cerifed ones are very expenive, i would increase your computer ram IMHO you can use any VGA card. as your scenes get bigger and the calculations when max renders from models, lighting sfx & animation all use up memory.

if you want to look at the autodesk VGA recommeded then here is the link https://knowledge.autodesk.com/sites/default/files/file_downloads/3dsmax2018_GFX_ResultsSept2017.pdf

as i said you can use any VGA card, you want too. As long as you configure the drivers inside max, but as you only have 8gb it won't make any difference if your viewports are lagging IMHO.
