topic How to turn a plane in a 3d object in 3ds Max Modeling Forum

Till now I was creating a house with lines and planes which was totally fine for rendering, but now I want to print it.
I was wandering if there is the possibility of connecting more planes together to create a 3d object. (E.g. : from two planes (one in the front of the odher ) create a box).

Why don't you simply create a BOX then? If you're talking about making a Solid object then you can use the SHELL modifier after creating a the geometry you like. It adds Thickness.

Because it would be extremely difficult to model a house out of a box.
The shell modifier is exactly the tool that I am searching for, thank you!
