Error in Unwrap UVW map selection

Hello ! How are you ? Im having problems when i try to select something in the Uv Editor. I was using the 2017 version and i had the same problem, i uninstalled 2 time´s and the problem keep showing. Then i unsitalled agian and install the 2019 version and the problem was there. I all ready try with olds and new proyect and nothing.

I leave a screenshot of the problem, that screen was taken in the 2019 version.

When i try to select something, the selection box show something else inside, like other part of 3D max. Here im upload 2 screenshots of the error. Thnaks !

What's your PC Spec? It looks like it's happening only when if you Maximize the UV Editor. Am I right in saying that?

Intel i5-4460 3.2, 16gb ddr3, GTX 960, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits. And no, it happens all the time !

Hi,

First, I recommend you update your graphics card's driver,

Meanwhile, and to be sure it's a VGA issue, try changing the Graphics Mode

And see what happens. To do that go to the Customize menu, Preferences, Viewports tab,

And click the Choose Driver button. Select from the list starting from up(other than the current one)

You'll need to restart 3DS Max after setting a new choice.

If this doesn't help, set it back to the Recommended option.

If it did help, well you can keep using the one that works or

Update your driver then try the recommended option again.

Yeah !!! I was using Nitrous Direct3D 11, change to Nitrous Direct3D 9, the same problem, i change it again to Legacy OpenGL and the problem was fixed !! Thank you very much !! i will try to go back to the recommended option the soon as i update it. But for now it's working good ! Thank you all !! Good luck !
