It may be that in my case it happened after an incident of the <A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-3ds-max-design-general/3ds-max-2016-runtime-error-r6025/td-p/5634719" target="_self">R6025 pure virtual function call bug</A>.
