Hey guys, ive been using 3ds for awhile now and I want to start moving into more proffesional work. I was wondering if I am able to export my 3ds max .obj files into Maya LT and 'trace' them in order to save myself alot of time instead of starting from scratch again. After tracing I would delete the original 3ds .obj and be left with the new Maya LT traced file.

Was just wondering if this would be okay according to the liscensing. I know the exported file would have a watermark, would doing this stain the new Maya LT file too?

I have alot of files ive made over the years in school and out that id like to keep and tracing them would be ideal.
