3ds max 2023 - Failure writing simulation output file (disk possibly full)

Hi all.

When trying to simulate water flow, I suddenly get the error above.

The disk is NOT full.

Still 70+ GB free space.

When 3DS Max is trying to backup or I try to save, I get the Scene File Save Warning message.

I got it with 3DS Max 2022 and updated to 2023 and still get it.

I have tried changing cache folder, cache drive, but STILL get the problem.

3DS Max is basically useless for me atm.

Are there any way to get rid of this bug?

Thx for the links, pendean.

But I eventually got it working by making a new folder in both SimCache and Autobackup folders and using thoose to save in.
