Hello,

I might have accidently hit something around the ALT? Was not able to orbit only. Pan Zoom everything else is fine. Tried to click Alt+mmb for many times and it shows a minus sign by the cursor. If it did get to orbit, it only for one second, then it shows the cursor with the minus sign.

What is wrong? I tried to open new file and the same thing happened. I was able to click on everything else to different views but just not able to Alt+mmb. I was able to use the orbit tool at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Thanks.

Really strange. Did you try to close Max, start it again and then try to orbit? Are you completely sure that your middle mouse button is not faulty? Have you changed the mouse seetings in Max?

I did close it and restart the laptop. It works now. But its really weird ? I think it really might be the mouse. But I was able to do others with it. Anyway. Thanks!

Hi again,

Today the orbit did not work again. Including zoom. The mouse works on eveything else. And the orbit selection somehow changed?? it did not have the 3 options I did have before (image 1).

 IMAGE 1

THIS IS THE ONLY OPTIONS I NOW HAVE. WHICH IS REALLY WEIRD. I did not change any thing from before I just open the file.
