I'm having an issue sizing up images in my reference box- they're either way to small, or way to high. This may have something to do with the weird fact that the material properties tabs have changed since the last time I opened this file. Before, when I went into the material properites editor, I got a "general maps" tag to modify and apply my bitmaps to, but now I'm getting a tab that just says "maps". Either way, here's what's visually going on:

From far away, the reference box looks grey and brown because of the dominant character in each map.

Close up, you can see the images I'm trying to get by themselves. I'm not sure why there's hundereds of each image on each board.

What type of image are you trying to attach? Attaching a jpg seems to be working ok.

My file is also a jpg, just a screenshot of the problem. Not sure if this is a problem with my profile- when I click "post" now, it deletes the file location the the attachment box, and puts my cursor where the file location was listed.

Unless the image is too big (5MB) then it should attach. Have you tried a different browser because I have heard that IE10 can be problematic. IE11, Chrome and Firefox should work.

Don't use a box, use 3 separate Plane objects. Make sure, when creating the Plane, that Generate Mapping Coords is ON and Real-World Map Size is OFF. Use Standard Materials, add your bitmaps to the Diffuse map channel. Ensure that the Use Real World Scale option (Bitmap Parameters, Coordinates rollout) is OFF. Also right-click the Plane > Properties > Backface Cull ON (ticked). If any are the wrong way around you'll need to Rotate them - remember to turn Angle Snaps on before doing so.
