    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi, just an idea how this might work another way.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;setup a plane of the size of your desired cutout, apply a projection modifier add the terrain parts to it and render the part of your terrain from 'render to texture/completemap' or whatever is suitable for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
