    <description>Deselect Window/Crossing (main toolbar, next to Select and Move). As before, area-selection works perfectly here, in all 4 viewports, whether the object is partially or completely covered by the selection area. Box + Turn to Patch (which you didn't mention earlier!) + Edit Patch. &lt;BR /&gt;
Also, check your Preferences, General tab, "Window/Crossing by Direction" just in case.</description>
