I have changed every CurrentDefaults.ini file on my system to SelectByNameUsesSceneExplorer=0. Still can not see it as it is on the merge dialog. (Just like the old select by name.) Please ask Autodesk to put that in as a legacy switch in the preferences dialog, okay? All who are on the beta or work for Autodesk? Please?In the mean time can someone tell what else I am missing as I am sure it is me, and not you. 🙂I will explain why so you don't think I am stupid. Well I am in a way. I have a severe case of Attention Deficit Disorder and it is best for me to keep things as simple as possible. I have used Max for so many years that I am burned into my way of working.
