Maps Missing from Material Editor - Map Plugins not loaded

i installed EXT2 and noticed that i have missing maps in the material editor.

Texture Object Mask is available under Maps > Standard > TextureObjMask in the Material/Map Browser of the Material Editor

on my system it is not. and some other maps are missing too.

like the shapemap or textmap.

i cleaned all traces of 3ds max from my system and reinstalled.

i installed 3ds max 2016

then EXT1, then SP2, then EXT2.

but still, some maps don´t appear.

i have to uncheck "load plugins when used" in the preferences to make them appear.

that works but is not optimal... any idea what is wrong?

i am on a win10 64BIT TH2 system with 64GB ram.
