Hi, i suspect that you have adaptive degradation "on". You have a button just below the viewport (a transparent cube) to swich this option "on" or "off".

Explanations on Adaptive Degradation: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/3DSMax/files/GUID-486136D3-3BCC-4A95-823B-3E7F9F75C2C4-htm.html

If you suspect that this is an hardware problem, please provide your full system specs.

Hello,

This may be caused by your Graphics Card or its drivers, or your Graphics mode of 3ds Max.

Please try these (not all at once please)

-Update your Graphics Card Drivers (also please check your DirectX version, update if necessary or Repair it by reinstalling it)

-Go to Customize > Configure Driver > Choose anything different then Nitrous (preferably Direct3D) and Restart 3ds Max

These two options will solve your problem most probably, but please let me know if your problem still continues.

Best regards;

I click on the (+) sign on the viewport and click Configure Viewport - Display Performance and under Adavtive Gradiation where it said Maintain Frame Per SecondI just lower the frames from 10 to 5 and it's stop flashing the viewports on and off.

I still got the same problem but now is when I'm Texturing and rendering I even lost some part of the model in the texturing box when I was going to add the engine. It slow, Sluggish and even comes out on top "NOT Responding" and sometimes it takes a while to open a scene.

Thank You.

Hi,

is it possible for you to try the same scene with another computer which has different cpu or gpu?

You can share your scene with me (if you don't want it to be open to public, feel free to send me a private message), so i can try and test it to see if the .max file is damaged or it is a hardware / driver issue?

(make sure that you save your file as Archive - File > Save As > Archive, and make sure it's saved for 3ds Max 2014)

Best regards;
