    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;if you mostly use vray, you can set it a the default renderer:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;go to&amp;nbsp;Customize - Custom UI and Defaults Switcher&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have Vray installed, you can choose&amp;nbsp;MAX.vray initial settings / tool options.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I will investigate for the invalid assets instance error it seems that the path to the material lib is wrong, you are using 3dsmax 2016 right ?&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>3D MAX 2016 VRay 3.2 Material Library</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Every time I open my&amp;nbsp;materials editor I start to face these two Problems, First &lt;STRONG&gt;most of the material slots are black&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;and the second is when I try to select different slots&amp;nbsp;I find this&amp;nbsp;message&lt;STRONG&gt; "Error&amp;nbsp;loading Autodesk material library 2012 invalid assets instance"&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you help me please?&amp;nbsp;and thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>
