Hello.

Since you havent given details about any errors and / or provided screenshots, this is most probably you have V-Ray 3.3 for another version of 3ds max.

As of yesterday V-Ray for Max 2017 has not been released by Chaos Group. Until that happens, the installer will not recognize Max 2017's installation directory and install to it. Believe me, we are all anxiously waiting for the release as it was rumored at Chaos Group a month ago that it would be out within a month.

I think it is about time that 3dsMAX installs with the VRAY plugin. It is too good. Every MAX user needs that kind of rendering quality

The working version of V-Ray for 3DS Max 2017 is the 3.40.01

So to use V-RAY in Max 2017 you need V-RAY 3.40.01

There is a blog, it is in Portuguesse in which they talk about the release, which is available right now, for legal users.

I guess this will be a demo, unless you pay for it.
