3ds Max currently unusable.

I have for the third time this week done a clean install of Windows 10 on my Mac Pro 2013 running bootcamp. I have updated the system, graphics cards fully, however both 3ds max 2016 and 2017 both crash doing the most basic of poly modelling.

I have opened scenes and i'm getting brilliant fps even in complex scenes but i have no idea why cutting a single cylinder causes both versions of the program to crash.

I am an educational user, soon to be upgrading to the full commercial licence and need to know whether this is software or hardware related.

Computer specs:

8 core Xeon

64gb Ram

2 x AMD D700 graphics cards

Any help on the matter would be massively appreciated.

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. This may have a little to do with how your Windows 10 is set up within the Mac environment. Have you downloaded the recent AMD driver that should addresses issues within Windows 10. Also, are you updating these versions of 3ds Max with the latest service packs?
